The Technical Cloud Sales Specialist – NSW/VIC
The Cloud Sales Specialist Role is an an overlay role and will identify, sell and maintain sales relationships within customer accounts across the Enterprise & Government segment. They develop and design solutions that solve customer problems and grow our cloud portfolio.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design solutions that can be implemented, managed, and maintained by [company]. Ensure non-standard design elements are documented and embedded within the operational arms of the business.
- Contribute to the achievement of revenue growth targets and re-sign and retention strategies by providing timely advice, recommendations, and accurate commercially focused innovative solutions.
- Develop innovative, cost effective design solutions that meet a customer’s business requirements which also contribute to the success of [company].
- Support and provide technical expertise on existing cloud technologies, solutions, and services to teams within the Enterprise & Government sales department.
- Design solutions that can be implemented, managed, and maintained by [company]. Ensure non-standard design elements are documented and embedded within the operational arms of the business.
- Identify market opportunities and work with our product and partner teams to drive product enhancements
- Achieve key monthly, quarterly and annual new business sales objectives within the allocated portfolio
- Maintain up to date and accurate customer contact, pipeline and any other required information in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, i.e. Salesforce.
- Attend weekly sales team meetings
- Represent [company] at industry meetings and trade association events whenever requested, continually promoting the company and its services
- Keep track on local competitor activity, reporting any significant developments to the sales team and [company] executives (including Sales, Product, Service etc).
- Co-operate with cross functional leaders within [company] to increase the value the company delivers to all its Customers.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- 3+ years of experience with IaaS or Public Cloud business solutions to large enterprise customers
- Highly experienced in using a “business solutions” type approach, utilising [company] product and services to identify customer needs and sell into applicable market sectors.
- Ability to proactively identify and create new business growth opportunities.
- Proven cultivator and ‘closer’ of sales opportunities at the Enterprise organisation level
- Excellent presentation skills.
